Nancy Hartwell, owner and executive chef of My Kitchen, was inspired to start her meal preparation service by hearing cries of desperation from time-starved colleagues at the consulting company where she used to work.
"I don't have a thing in the house to eat, I'm sick of pizza and Chinese; I guess we'll have to go out again tonight." A lifelong cook, she was taught by her grandmother, who owned a bakery. While living in Cameroon , she owned and operated a bakery and was commissioned to make the President's daughter's wedding cake for 5,000 guests. |
